The best way to manage
your basketball team.
No more WhatsApp groups spiraling the night before the game. Draftly centralizes call-ups, attendance and generates balanced 5v5 lineups with AI — so every practice runs at its best.
Balanced 5v5 lineups
The AI analyzes each player's level, position (point guard, wing, center…) and recent form to generate balanced teams in seconds.
Attendance made simple
Send a call-up in one click. Players confirm via push notification or email. You know who's coming in real time.
Match stats and history
Record scores, track wins and losses, vote MVP. A full season history available anytime.
Automatic notifications
Practice reminders, match cancellations, schedule changes — your players are always informed without you chasing anyone.
A cap per training slot
Gym too small or not enough coaches? Set a maximum number of players. The session shows "12/16 spots", switches to "Full" when it's full and blocks new "In" answers, guests included.
Pickup games on outdoor courts
Want to play outside training? Create a game on an outdoor court, pick the day and time, invite your teammates. Everyone answers in one click.
How the AI builds your basketball team
Building a balanced basketball team isn't about fielding the five best players present. It's about balancing positions, mixing levels and adapting to who actually shows up on game night. Done by hand, it always ends in lopsided teams, one-sided games and frustrated players.
Draftly takes that headache away. Each player has a profile (main position, level, recent form), and Gemini AI splits the attendees into teams of equal strength, accounting for the backcourt and the paint. No favoritism, no mental math: a fair lineup, ready in seconds, that you can regenerate in one click if a player shows up late.
Friday night, 10 players confirm for a 5v5: 2 solid point guards, 1 beginner center, 1 experienced center, 4 wings of varying levels and 2 shooting guards. The AI puts a center and a strong guard on each side, balances the shooters, and offsets the beginner center with a solid power forward opposite. Two tight teams, generated without you having to decide who plays with whom.
Every basketball position accounted for
You assign each player a main position. The AI uses it to guarantee every team has a point guard, an inside presence and outside shooting.
Point guard
Runs the offense, handles the ball and distributes. The backbone of the team on the creation side.
Shooting guard
Perimeter scorer, takes outside shots and attacks the rim on mismatches.
Small forward
A versatile position, comfortable on both ends of the floor.
Power forward
Inside game, rebounds and screens. The link between the perimeter and the paint.
Center
Protects the rim, dominates the boards and anchors the paint on both ends.
Fits every format
5v5
The classic indoor format. The AI builds two balanced teams of five, subs included.
3x3
The Olympic format, faster and more physical. Draftly adjusts lineups to the number of players present.
Practice
Split the group into several balanced teams for drills or internal scrimmages.
Find an outdoor court near you
With the "Around me" tab, basketball doesn't stop at club sessions. Draftly lists free-access outdoor basketball courts from the French Ministry of Sports open data, excluding schoolyards and facilities closed to the public.
Search a city, postcode or court name, spot the results on the map and open a court page: satellite view, directions, number of courts, lighting, surface, wheelchair access. A "Create a game here" button starts a game on the spot, and you invite teammates from all your teams. The organizer sees who's coming, can change the venue or time, and everyone is notified if the game changes or is cancelled.
No training this Saturday. Lucas searches "Montpellier", picks a lit playground with two courts, creates a game at 10am with the note "I'm bringing the ball" and invites six teammates from his two teams. Four answer "I'm in" within the hour, one drops out the day before: Lucas gets a notification and knows they'll be five, enough for 3x3 with a sub.
Games are open to your own teammates only for now. Court data: Data ES — French Ministry of Sports (Licence Ouverte 2.0), coverage expanding region by region, currently in France only. Basemaps: IGN Géoplateforme, OpenStreetMap.
